As it has been for many years, it is excellent and consistently excellent quality of the food and very friendly and personable service!

The chickens are really world class, the staff are very friendly and the host is also very personable. We always like to come by to eat chicken :-)

Very good food, the specialty are the chickens, which cannot be found anywhere else and which guests come from far away. Nice atmosphere and nice, courteous service. Always worth a visit!

The food is very tasty and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. I often go here at family dinners. So far everything has always worked out great and we have always been served and received in a very friendly manner. We will certainly not be the last time that we will eat here. Can only recommend the restaurant.

Eating tasty service drinks could be a bit quick.

They say: "There is no second chance for a first impression!" We gave it anyway and were unfortunately disappointed for the second time within a few weeks. We came on foot and wanted our Sunday afternoon coffee enjoy on the terrace. A sign informed us that we were being shown a place. So we waited obediently until the boss received us with the (for me) incomprehensible sentence whether we could be helped further ... .. after all, we weren't looking for the next bus stop !!!!! When we asked for coffee, the short counter question came up: "Cup or jug?" When we looked at something undecided, we had not yet been offered a place, we impatiently added another one: "I just have to know, because then I have a break." we would find ourselves a place under the pavilion, where only two other guests sat at the next table. So not much to do this afternoon. WE!!! greeted the boss when he served us - really really good - coffee and cappuccino. Later there was no longer any question whether you wanted to drink something else. There was no cake anyway. For further orders you had to go to the dining room. All in all a disappointing experience in terms of service and hospitality and the question now arises whether the "Berghof" doesn't value local guests?!?!?! The only star is only for the really good coffee / cappuccino and inexpensive drinks.

As a child in 1968 I was here for dinner with my father and brother. Of course, a lot has changed, but the food and the family have remained the same. I still come here often today, especially the stuffed chickens ... actually everything fits here ...

The best chicken far and wide.

It was our first time to eat in the Berghof today. Reservations have been made in advance. We spontaneously had another child with us, which was the first "problem" and we were immediately informed that we should call next time. Dan went on ordering the food. We wanted dumplings instead of chicken chips. Then the comment came out very snappy: "This is not possible, dumplings are only available for roasting". But graciously, our son got dumplings. The boss didn't like that at all. Then we were pointed out that the tax office is demanding new software for registration and that we as guests have to accept that you have to wait a bit longer in the conversion phase. The food was good but the friendliness of the service staff was very disappointing

Absolutely 100 percent the best chicken you will ever have in your life. Great team and service. Würzburger Hofbräu on tap. Highly highly recommended. So awesome.

Definitely the best fried chicken in the world! For over 60 years, the legendary, juicy, stuffed roasted chicken served here - a treat without equal. I myself know this wonderful specialty since about 1970, when my parents took me here as a small child (that's why Böttigheim in our family is called "Hähnchenhausen"). Quality and enjoyment have kept the high level! There is also a large menu and drinks menu that leaves hardly a wish unfulfilled. The card is also very funny to read. Tip: treat yourself to a Leberknödelsuppe before the main course, it is incredibly tasty. Tip 2: definitely try the chicken. Tip 3: Table reservation recommended.

Here you get the best home cooking! Class ambience, nice location. I can only recommend it to everyone. Prices very moderate. Tip: try the fried chicken. Class!

Best. Chicken. Ever. ... Been coming here for over 20 years. I swear I've never had chicken like they do it here. Plus, cold Würzburger Hofbräu and excellent service. Tip top. Highly recommended.
